Burress planned to play football again after prison term

After being sentenced on Sept. 22, Plaxico Burress will stay behind the bar for two years. Rather a long time and Burress already has had a plan for the future life. He hired a prison consultant to arrange life in the prison, and he also planned to return to the NFL after he is released from prison.

“When I get out, I’ll be 33, not 43,” Burress said in an ESPN interview broadcast Tuesday night. “I’ll still be able to run and catch. I’ll still have the God-given ability to snag footballs; that’s what I love to do. Of course, I want to play again.”

Burress also contacted Michael Vick, who served 18 months in federal prison for dog fighting operation and was reinstated into the league and found a job in the Philadelphia Eagles not long ago. Feeling sorry for what he did, Burress also expressed his anxiety about his family, especially his pregnant wife, who will give birth to a baby on Thanksgiving Day.
