US Arena League to return in 2010

After scrapping its 2009 season, the Arena Football will be back in 2010. The indoor version of the American gridiron game has had 22 games and has 16 teams after the original league folded last month over financial issues.

The 16 teams come from 16 cities: Orlando, Chicago, Phoenix, Des Moines, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Utah, Arkansas, Alabama, Milwaukee, Kentucky, and Fresno, Jacksonville, Louisiana and the Spokane and Tri-Cities areas of Washington State. Orlando, Chicago and Phoenix were among the original Arena Football League cities, and New York and Dallas were removed from the league.

Sometimes great players can be discovered in the Arena Football. An good example is the Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner, who won a Super Bowl with the St. Louis Rams in 1999 season and led the 2008 Arizona Cardinals to Super Bowl XLIII.
