Hasselbeck returned in full practice

After sitting out Wednesday’s practice to take care of his broken ribs, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck took part in full practice on Thursday, giving a good sign of his playing status in this Sunday’s home game against the Detroit Lions.

After the practice, Hasselbeck said that he feels similar to how he felt at this point a week ago, giving more confidence to his team and fans that he is ready for playing game in his NFL jersey again. Being a bit beat up after playing all of last weekend’s 38-17 loss at Dallas, Hasselbeck again led the charge of his team during Thursday’s practice.

Hasselbeck got the injury when he was crumpled on the turf after a hit in the third quarter. He still finished the game but missed Wednesday’s practice to nurse the injury. Seneca Wallace ran the first-team offense during his absence.
