Vince Young is questionable for Sunday game with aggravated knee injury

No matter how much the Tennessee Titans fans want quarterback Vince Young to wear back his Titans jersey and lead the team to start a new winning streak, they have to wait until Young’s injured knee feels all right to work.

Young watched the Friday’s practice and Kerry Collins was again seen in the first-team. But according to Titans Coach Jeff Fisher, missing practice has nothing to do with Young’s playing status for this Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams. Young just needed rest after tweaking the knee on Thursday and aggravated the knee injury he originally suffered during last Sunday’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Fans can remain optimistic about Sunday’s game against the Rams, as running back Chris Johnson practiced fully Friday and receiver Kenny Britt also took full part in the practice after being listed on Thursday’s injury report with a back injury. Fullback Ahmard Hall, tight end Jared Cook, receiver Nate Washington, linebackers David Thornton and Collin Allred all returned to practice on the same day.
