Brees worked as bellboy to greet teammates

With six days left before the biggest game of the season, there is still enough time for the New Orleans Saints players to have fun. When the team arrived at their Super Bowl hotel on Monday, they were greeted by a group of bellboys, oh no, their teammates who arrived earlier to attend Sunday’s Pro Bowl but took off their Saints jerseys to wear the hotel staff uniforms.

“It was Sean’s idea and initially it was just going to be Sean, but the fact that the Pro Bowl guys were at the hotel and were planning on greeting the team anyway, he asked that we join in,” Brees said. “It didn’t go that far—it was just the appearance us waiting on the curve, ready to serve.” Brees added that he did not actually handle any luggage.

But standing at the entrance of the hotel pretending to serve itself was fun. And having fun is much better than being nervous and anxious about the upcoming game against the Indianapolis Colts for the Super Bowl title.
