Redskins Coach Shanahan will look for top-flight QB

As quarterback Jason Campbell not to return with the Washington Redskins as a free agent, the team’s new coach Mike Shanahan has made picking a top-flight quarterback the most important plan for 2010 season. If possible, the Redskins will begin their rebuilding process with a franchise quarterback.

According to reports, Shanahan plans to use the fourth overall draft pick to draft Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford or Notre Dame’s Jimmy Clausen in the first round, although there are also needs to overhaul the offensive line. Well, the Redskins have to trust the former Broncos coach and general manager who has proved adept at finding good lineman throughout the draft.

Working with new GM Bruce Allen, Shanahan has kept his plans closed but a lot of people believe that he will help the Redskins catch up with the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants by firstly getting a quarterback like Tony Romo, Donovan McNabb and Eli Manning to put on Redskins jersey.
