Brett Favre provides a boost to the Vikings Super Bowl hopes
According to multiple reports, Brett Favre has arrived in Minnesota to rejoin the Vikings for his 20th NFL season. Favre in brett favre jersey had been unable to give a definite answer about his plans this offseason because he had been waiting for his left ankle to recover from surgery. Favre injured the ankle during last season’s NFC title game against the Saints. The quarterback’s relative silence led many to assume he simply intended to continue playing. A healthy Favre with favre jersey certainly provides a boost to the Vikings' Super Bowl hopes.
It was reported that, Sidney Rice has not returned to practice and there is no set date on when that will happen. But he did go through some cutting drills Monday, which shows progress with his hip injury. In the sidney rice jersey, Rice could only participate in straight-line drills before Monday. Rice told reporters that he felt pretty good. When he will be well enough to play in a game seems to be anyone's guess.
We have known that the Vikings took a young quarterback from the University of Georgia who named Fran Tarkenton in the third round. Wearing his fran tarkenton jersey, Tarkenton said on his 2010 web site, “I loved playing football. I loved being a Minnesota Viking. I loved it from the first day I walked on the field in Bemidji. The Vikings were part of my soul. They were in my fabric.” Fans in tarkenton jersey or saints jersey would have great expectation on the young man.
Unlike the Vikings' powerhouse, who has rushed for at least 1,300 yards in each of his first three seasons, Adrian Peterson in adrian peterson jersey hails from another NFC North team, the Chicago Bears, and has yet to eclipse the 1,300 career yards mark in his eight years as an NFL player. It has been mentioned he may be looked at as a return man, but with elusive and quick rookie Golden Tate, it's difficult to justify a roster spot for Peterson who like wearing his peterson jersey.
One of his former players, defensive tackle John Randle, is part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 2010 class. Randle insisted Teerlinck, his position coach with the Minnesota Vikings from 1992-94, be part of the induction ceremonies and the special events leading up to it. "John taught me how to succeed in the NFL," Randle in john randle jersey said.
