Detroit Red Wings locked up Jamie Tardif with a one-year contract

According to the statement made by the general manager of the Detroit Red Wings that they just offered the 25-year-old forward Jamie Tardif a one-year contract to request him to wear the Detroit Red Wings jersey again. With the contract, Tardif will still be able to be on the ice hockey field throughout the 2010-2011 season.

“I am glad to continue to be a member of the Detroit Red Wings jerseys, and I am really enjoying the time stay with teammates there, we are good friend, especially the guy in Nicklas Lidstrom jersey who provides me so many helps in my NHL career.” Tardif said during an interview.

There’s no detailed report on financial terms of the one-year contract, which the guy in Lidstrom jersey expressed that this must be a secret for both the team and the player. He would like to protect his best friend. With the re-sign of Tardif, the guy in Henrik Zetterberg jersey will still need to strive for the starting position, as far as the same position they played, but Tardif expressed that the owner of the Zetterberg jersey guy is the NHL player who made rapid progress in those years. As a member of the Red Wings jerseys, players enjoy more as friends rather than contenders for starting position.

As the representative of the Red Wings, the player dressed in Pavel Datsyuk jersey gave Tardif the best wishes, as the player witnessed the progress of the Tardif in his NHL career, Tardif spent the last four seasons with the AHL Grand Rapids Griffins. Because of the admiration of the player in Datsyuk jersey, in 2009-10, he scored 16 goals and had 17 assists. The Calgary Flames drafted the 6-foot, 205-pounder in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2003 draft.

As the team who has the ability to enter into the Stanley Cup Championing game, the Detroit Red wings must be the strongest contender of the all other NHL teams in 2010 season.
