Something will be changed at Tropicana Field

Something will be changed at Tropicana Field

Tropicana Field has been the baseball centre and the honor place to players and will clark jersey lovers. The greater Tampa Bay area is the winter headquarters for the Ringling Bros. In a way, we can say it is the baseball equivalent of a funhouse.

Here, we must say more about it. Tampa Bay's Tropicana Field is the only non-retractable dome in baseball just like distinct characteristic of albert pujols jersey. It was built to lure Major League Baseball to the Gulf Coast in the late 1980s, but was used as a hockey arena for the Tampa Bay Lightning before MLB arrived in 1998. The dome is quirky – to say the least.

Then we can see more disadvantages to baseball teams and players including matt holliday jersey wearers. Here, we'll list the “hazards” as follows;

First, I’d like to say something about the catwalks. There are four catwalks that circle the dome. Three of them are very much in view of the bob gibson jersey players. And all three of those catwalks have banks of lights. The catwalks can cause a depth perception issue. Players in jim edmonds jersey also have to deal with balls going in and out of the lights and then in and out again. It makes finding a lost ball nearly impossible.

Second, the light ray is too dazzling to endure. The roof of the dome is fabric and is white. During the day, particularly a sunny day, it becomes a very bright white. It's easy for players even ones in willie mcgee jersey to lose fly balls as if they were looking into a cloud.

Last but not the least, the previous ground rules must be changed as well. Until Monday, balls that hit two of the catwalks were still considered to be in play and could be caught for outs or, if they stayed on the catwalk, they would be ground-rule doubles for players wearing keith hernandez jersey. Now, a ball hitting a catwalk (except for the area behind the outfield fence) is considered dead. The pitch does not count.

Back in August, Rays manager Joe Maddon in lou brock jersey blamed a loss to the Twins on the roof structure. An otherwise routine fly ball by Minnesota's Jason Kubel in vince coleman jersey hit the A-ring and dropped into fair territory; the Twins scored on the play and ended up winning. The rules regarding the lower two catwalks remain unchanged. If a ball hits the "C-ring" or the "D-ring," it is a home run. For tim mccarver jersey lovers and fans, the rules really need to be changed.

Next time, you will find the oddities missing from Rays' Tropicana Field. In addition, some rules have been changed. But I believe everything will just work out and things that have changed just benefit the players and stephen strasburg jersey wearers. Hope things go ahead.
