Scandal of stripped Miss USA winner and her death
She once became Miss USA winner in 1957, but not long time. Exactly speaking, she was stripped the title the next day, because she lied a lot of things to the nation citizens including ones who are fond of buying cheap lee cliff jersey at weekends and the pageant officials. Her name was Leona Gage. But latest news said that she died. She has died in Los Angeles, said by his son Saturday.
Her son Robert Kaminer, who is usually wearing casual sportswear ken griffey jersey, told the Associated Press that Gage died of heart failure after spending several weeks at a Sherman Oaks hospital on Tuesday. But people will have a good understanding that Gage's pageant scandal probably brought her more fame than if she had kept the crown, just like Vanessa Williams and jimmy wynn jersey lover of Carrie Prejean.
Mary Leona Gage was born in Texas. She was appeared as Miss Maryland USA in the competition in Long Beach, Calif, where you can see some fans wearing nellie fox jersey. As is known all, she has lied too many secrets about her.
The first secret exposed was that she was not Miss but Mrs. That is to say she has married. However, in fact, she had been already been married twice, both times at age 14 — the first was quickly annulled — and had her second child who now is often fond of wearing cheap sportswear of harry halladay jersey at 16, all forbidden for the resume of a pageant contestant. But She told reporters after winning that she didn't even have a boyfriend in halladay jersey."I want to wait until I'm 26 before I become seriously interested in the opposite sex," she said, according to the Baltimore Sun.
The second one was that she told a lie of her age. She told the pageant officials including ones wore lan kansler jersey she was 21 when she was 18. But she has been used to these, just as she said before, "To my mother who liked to buy brand kansler jersey, that was the biggest scandal there could be," Gage told the Sun. "All my life, she said, 'Don't you dare go into the bushes with a boy and get yourself pregnant.'"
She knew that lots of people including josh hamilton jersey wearers would condemn her. "I think one half of the U.S. hated me," she told the Sun. Gage took advantage of the attention that came with the lost tiara and made many television appearances, including a highly rated appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Then she had learned to be used to these things including wearing vladimir guerrero jersey.
After losing the trophy, prize money, trips with michael young jersey and studio contracts that went to first runner-up Miss Utah, she pursued an acting career. But that didn't take off. Her later life was really somehow tragedy. She had Six failed marriages, lost custody of her five children including nolan ryan jersey lovers. However, she was proud of that her five sons, especially that one engaged in real estate and the other was in the army.
